Andrew Coombs

Andrew has more than 25 years of commercial leadership experience across healthcare delivery, health insurance, strategy and transformation.

At Ramsay Health Care, Andrew leads commercial partnerships with health insurers and government and oversees the growth of Ramsay’s mental health, pharmacy and allied health businesses. He is also responsible for marketing, customer strategy and the development of integrated, digitally enabled care pathways.

Before joining Ramsay, Andrew was Vice President Commercial and Executive Committee member at HCA Healthcare UK, where he led payor strategy, business development, digital engagement and marketing. He worked closely with clinicians and hospital teams to strengthen partnerships with private health insurers and design patient-centred propositions, particularly in cancer care.

Earlier in his career, Andrew was Managing Director of AXA Global Health and CEO of AXA Global Protect, following senior advisory and finance roles at KPMG.
