The Board is responsible for Ramsay Health Care's strategic direction and performance.

It monitors operational and financial performance, human resources policies and practices, and approves the company's budgets and business plans. It is also responsible for overseeing Ramsay’s risk management, financial reporting and compliance frameworks.

David is an Australian business leader with global experience in the technology and telecommunications industries and leading roles in public policy.
Craig McNally
Managing Director & Global CEO
Craig joined Ramsay in 1988 and has worked across operational, strategic and financial roles. He was appointed Global CEO and Managing Director in 2017.
Michael Siddle
Non-Executive Director
Michael is a founding Director of Ramsay and has extensive experience in the management of private hospitals. He has been integral to the company's successful expansion through construction, mergers and acquisitions.
Dr Claudia Süssmuth Dyckerhoff
Non-Executive Director
Claudia is passionate about contributing to the improvement of healthcare systems. Her expertise centres on market growth strategies, business development and operational improvement in hospitals.
Alison Deans
Non-Executive Director
Alison has more than two decades' experience building technology-enabled businesses involved in media, ecommerce, financial services and health, and across leadership roles.
James McMurdo
Non-Executive Director
James has over 30 years' finance and banking experience, with a background in corporate advisory spanning mergers and acquisitions, strategic advisory and financing in multiple sectors.
Karen Penrose

Karen has over 30 years' business experience across the finance, property, healthcare and resources industries.
Steven Sargent

Steven has multi-industry, international experience leading businesses in industries including healthcare, energy and financial services across the USA, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Helen brings significant operational, executive and board-level experience in a range of Australian based healthcare organisations.
Henrietta Rowe
Group General Counsel & Company Secretary
Henrietta was appointed Group General Counsel & Company Secretary in 2019 and is responsible for the Group legal, governance and secretariat functions.

Craig McNally
Managing Director & Global CEO
Craig joined Ramsay in 1988 and has worked across operational, strategic and financial roles. He was appointed Global CEO and Managing Director in 2017.
Martyn Roberts
Group Chief Financial Officer
Martyn was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in April 2020. He is also a Director of Ramsay Santé.
Colleen Harris
Group Chief People Officer
Colleen joined Ramsay in 2018 and is responsible for global workforce strategy, enterprise-wide leadership development and progressing Ramsay's compelling company culture.
Professor Sir Edward Byrne AC
Group Chief Medical Officer
Sir Ed joined Ramsay in February 2021. He is a highly-respected neuroscientist, academic and policy adviser. Sir Ed leads Ramsay's clinical excellence agenda.
Dr Rachna Gandhi
Group Chief Transformation & Digital Officer
Rachna joined Ramsay in December 2021. She leads the advancement of our global and Australian digital strategy and data management framework.
Henrietta Rowe
Group General Counsel & Company Secretary
Henrietta was appointed Group General Counsel & Company Secretary in 2019 and is responsible for the Group legal, governance and secretariat functions.
Andrew Wearne
Group Chief Risk Officer
Andrew is responsible for Ramsay’s global risk management framework and internal audit programs. He joined the business in June 2018.
Carmel Monaghan
Ramsay Australia CEO
Carmel was appointed to lead Ramsay's Australian operations in October 2020. She has worked across hospital, corporate and global positions in Ramsay for more than two decades.
Pascal Roché
Ramsay Santé CEO
Pascal has led Ramsay's European joint venture business since 2011. He is also Chairman of the Ramsay Santé Corporate Foundation.
Nick Costa
Ramsay UK CEO
Nick was appointed in January 2022, after four years as Ramsay UK’s Chief Operating Officer.

Joy has led the UK specialist mental health care provider, Elysium Healthcare, since its formation in 2016.
