Helen Kurincic is an experienced director and senior executive bringing over 30 years’ of operational, executive and board-level experience across healthcare, specialist medicine, radiology and financial services.
Ms Kurincic is also Chair of McMillan Shakespeare and a Non-Executive Director of Artrya Limited, Carlton Football Club and Carlton Imaging Pty Ltd. Ms Kurincic was previously Chair of Integral Diagnostics and a Non-Executive Director of HBF Health, Estia Health, Sirtex Medical, AMP Capital Investors Domain Principal Group, Melbourne Health, Orygen Youth Mental Health Research Centre and DCA Group. Beginning her career as an intensive care nurse, Helen transitioned into community health and aged care leadership and had an accomplished executive career, including as Chief Operating Officer of Genesis Care, CEO of Heart Care Victoria and CEO of Benetas.
Ms Kurincic is passionate about transforming healthcare and has been actively involved in healthcare government policy reform, including appointments by Health Ministers as Chair of the Professional Programs and Services Committee for the Fourth Community Pharmacy Agreement and Member of the Minister’s Implementation Taskforce and Minister’s Reference Group for the Long Term Reform of Aged Care. Ms Kurincic holds a Master of Business Administration from Victoria University and has completed the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership NED Programme. She is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Governance Institute of Australia.
