Helen Kurincic

Helen brings significant operational, executive and board-level experience in a range of Australian based healthcare organisations, most recently as Chair of medical imaging provider Integral Diagnostics and a Non-Executive Director of the health insurance fund HBF Health.

Currently Chair of the novated leasing and salary packaging business McMillan Shakespeare, Helen has made her mark across diverse sectors including ASX-listed companies, private firms, non-profits and even the iconic Carlton Football Club.

A respected strategist, risk and governance expert, Helen’s previous roles include Non-Executive Director for Estia Health, Sirtex Medical, Domain Principal Group, Melbourne Health and DCA Group.

Helen’s expertise extends beyond the boardroom, with valuable experience leading and growing hospital and allied health service operations. Past management roles include as Chief Operating Officer of the radiation oncology and cardiology company GenesisCare from its earliest inception, Chief Executive Officer of Heart Care Victoria and Chief Executive Officer of the aged care provider Benetas.

Since beginning her career as an intensive care nurse, Helen has been passionate about transforming healthcare and was actively involved in government policy reform, including as the first non-pharmacist appointed to, and subsequently Chair, the Professional Programs & Services Advisory Committee providing advice and recommendations to the Federal Minister for Health in relation to pharmacy programs and services funded under the Fourth Community Pharmacy Agreement.

Helen holds a Master of Business Administration from Victoria University. She is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Governance Institute of Australia.
