Nick is an experienced senior healthcare executive with a proven track record in leading strategic transformation across the UK and European independent health sector. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Ramsay Health Care UK in 2022, following his tenure as Chief Operating Officer from 2018. In addition, Nick is a Board member of the listed European healthcare company Ramsay Santé and is Chair of the Risk Committee.
Since joining Ramsay, Nick has been instrumental in driving the strategic evolution of the UK business, including the successful national rollout of an Electronic Patient Record. His leadership has strengthened Ramsay’s position as a leading UK independent provider of both private and NHS care, operating 34 acute hospitals across England and delivering high-quality, integrated services through strong clinical partnerships and a culture of innovation.
In March 2025, Nick also took on the role of interim CEO at Elysium Healthcare, the UK’s leading independent provider of mental health services and part of the Ramsay Health Care group. Elysium operates over 95 specialist services across England and Wales, offering complex care in secure mental health settings, rehabilitation, CAMHS, learning disabilities and autism, as well as neurological services — spanning both inpatient and community care.
Prior to joining Ramsay, Nick had eleven years of Director level experience in healthcare at regional operations, business transformation and business development levels, leading on major service delivery and business transformation programmes.
