Steven Sargent

Steven's executive career included 22 years at General Electric, where he gained extensive multi-industry, international experience leading businesses in industries including healthcare, energy and financial services across the USA, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Steven is currently a Non-Executive Director of Origin Energy Limited and Chair of infection prevention company Nanosonics Limited. His unlisted board activities include Chairman of The Origin Energy Foundation Limited, Origin’s philanthropic arm, and Non-Executive Director of The Great Barrier Reef Foundation.

As well as holding a Bachelor of Business from Charles Sturt University, Steven is also a Fellow with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

In the past three years, Steven has served as a Director of the following listed companies:
